The wreck lies between 5 and 18 meters and is surrounded by sandy patches, seagrass and colorful coral gardens. Large parts of the ship are easily recognizable, including the bridge, rudder and stern propeller. Over the years, the Hamada has become home to a wide variety of marine life and is heavily colonized by hard and soft corals. Calm conditions and good visibility allow long, relaxed dives with plenty of time to explore both the wreck and the surrounding reef.
